Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions are specific to Kaiser Foundation Hospitals (“Kaiser”) and its affiliates. The terms and conditions are taken from the Master Cloud Services Agreement between Learning Tree International (“Learning Tree”) and Kaiser.

COURSE CANCELLATION FEES (All days are referenced are calendar days)

Public Course Cancellation

• For Public Classes, if Kaiser employees would like to cancel or transfer their course, they must notify Learning Tree prior to two weeks before the start date of the course or within seven calendar days of registration in order to avoid a cancellation or change fee. If a customer reschedules or cancels their course within two weeks of the start date of the course or after seven calendar days from the date of registration, a fee equal to 50% of the course price will be assessed to that employee’s manager’s cost center.

Private Course Cancellation (Remote or Onsite)

• For Private events, if the Kaiser manager would like to cancel or reschedule their private event, they must notify Learning Tree 16 days prior to the start date of the event in order to avoid a cancellation or change fee. If the Kaiser manager needs to cancel or reschedule their scheduled event less than 16 days before the scheduled start of the event, that manager’s cost center will be subject to a cancellation fee in the amount of 50% of the event fee (inclusive of instructor travel). If that same event is rescheduled to execute within ninety (90) days of the original cancellation date, then the cancellation fee will be reduced to 25% of the event fee (inclusive of instructor travel). In all cases, Learning Tree will partner with Kaiser to make reasonable efforts to mitigate Kaiser private training session cancellation fees.

• Kaiser will incur the instructor’s travel costs if the event is scheduled anywhere except when virtual or held at The Learning Tree Education Center. Travel expenses will comply with Kaiser policies.

GUARANTEE OF QUALITY

Learning Tree’s “Guarantee of Quality” provides it’s customers with the opportunity to attend the course of their choice - and then pay only if 100% satisfied with the value of the course. If a customer sends Learning Tree a written notice of dissatisfaction with a course to KPIT@LearningTree.com within 60 days of the course start date, the customer will have the option of retaking the course at no charge, applying prepaid tuition fees against another course attendance, or receiving a credit of any course tuition paid that can be applied toward future services.

GENERAL

These terms and conditions set out above represent pieces of the Master Cloud Services Agreement between Learning Tree and Kaiser and is not a complete statement of agreement. The Master Cloud Services Agreement supersedes all other agreements and in the case of any disputes over terms and conditions the terms and conditions stated in the Master Cloud Services Agreement have precedence.
